Son of Macau Billionaire Throws ‘Fairytale’ Proposal for Victoria’s Secret Model Ming Xi

Chinese supermodel Ming Xi was surprised with a “fairytale” proposal by her boyfriend of two years, Mario Ho.
Mario, son of Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho, popped the question on Monday with a pink castle background inside Shanghai’s L’Avenue Mall, AsiaOne reports.
To pull off his romantic gesture, the wealthy groom-to-be reportedly booked three levels of the mall and filled it with pink decorations, including heart-shaped flower arches and flowing drapery, among others.
“You are a very innocent child, so I feel that being with you — be it the words you speak or the things you do — every moment we spend together makes me feel very safe,” the 24-year-old said while delivering the proposal on one knee.
“Spending our days together is the greatest joy in my life. I really treasure this. I hope that this love will last forever.”
He then popped the question: “Ming Xi, marry me?”
After accepting his proposal with a “yes,” Mario slipped the ring on her finger, causing the crowd to cheer wildly for them.
A month prior, rumors circulated that Ming Xi was pregnant but Mario denied the claims, offering $100 million Hong Kong dollars ($12.7 million) to anyone who could show proof.
