McDonald’s ‘Mulan McNugget’ Szechuan Sauce Makes Epic Comeback Thanks to ‘Rick and Morty’

People are going crazy for a 90’s era Szechuan dipping sauce from McDonald’s after a scene in the season premier of “Rick and Morty” sparked people’s interest once again.
After the season three premier of “Rick and Morty”, fans were eager to find this limited-edition Szechuan dipping sauce from McDonald’s – which Rick was also very desperate to get his hands on.
According to Mashable, the Szechuan dipping sauce was in fact a collaborative product of McDonald’s tp promote Disney’s “Mulan” back in 1998.
Many Twitter users started hinting at McDonald’s to make Szechuan dipping sauce again, while some went to the stores to ask for it.
Interestingly enough, someone even started a petition on Change.org to bring back the in-demand McDonald’s Szechuan sauce. The post still needs roughly 2,000 petitioners to be able to reach their quota of 25,000 supporters.
“McDonald’s Szechuan sauce is the best sauce known to man. It would be a tragedy for it to not come back to McDonald’s” the petition reads.
But the strangest thing is the eBay bid for an “authentic autographed photograph” of this Szechuan packet that went as high as $99,000. However, the ridiculous post has since disappeared, so either eBay or the eBay user removed the listing.
So far, a corporate chef for McDonald’s is hoping to help bring the epic sauce back.
