Rich Dad Spends $6 Million on His 15-Year-Old’s Epic Quinceañera
A 15-year-old Texas girl had her lawyer father throw her the most epic and extravagant $6 million dollar Quinceañera that included guest performances by both Nick Jonas and Pitbull. This teenager definitely takes the cake for being a daddy’s girl.
Maya Henry from San Antonio, Texas, hosted her 15th birthday bash on Feb. 12 at a 55,000-square-foot venue that included 30-foot-tall blossoming cherry trees, walls of roses, fountains, fake peacocks, a garden room and a ballroom filled with butterflies hanging from the ceiling.
Her father, Thomas J. Henry, owns a personal injury law firm that employs over 60 attorneys. The company, which describes itself as “one of the biggest plaintiff’s firms in Texas,” is based in Texas and serves clients all over the country. According to the Daily Mail, Thomas Henry and his wife Azteca Henry said that they “wanted to give [Maya] an unforgettable night to mark her transition into young adulthood.”
The proud parents were able to hire talent Nick Jonas and Pitbull for the night’s entertainment. They made sure their daughter was dressed to impress in two pink $20,000 dresses, one by designer Rolando Santana.
Her makeup was done by artist Patrick Ta, who has worked with the Kardashian family. To capture the big moment, the Henrys hired photographer Donna Newman, who has had notable clients such as actor Matt Damon and First Lady Michelle Obama.
One Instagram user who allegedly worked at the birthday party said that the Henry family arrived in nine Rolls Royces that were escorted by police. The user, Rileyromz, wrote in a caption of a video showing Pitbull’s performance:
“I was helping at a millionaire event last night. Lawyer got #Pitbull and #NickJonas for 15 years old daughter’s birthday party.”
“Family came in police escort with nine Rolls Royces. Gourmet food everywhere. Unbelieveable. But I saw famous people in person!”
Her uncle, Chris Crawford, posted pictures of his own on his account with the following statement:
“My beautiful mother, niece, sister, and brother-in-law as the cake was rolled out for my nieces quinceanera. Was such a beautiful night and a total blast!”
The lavish affair was attended by 600 guests and coordinated by New York social event planner David Monn as well as a team of 150 event planners. The birthday girl, a high school freshman, made a toast during the event and expressed her gratitude to her parents for planning such an unbelievable celebration for her. She said:
“It was an amazing night, one I will never forget. I am so thankful to everyone who attended and to my amazing parents, who literally made my dreams come true.”
Henry also posted her thanks on Instagram along with photos of herself with Pitbull, family friend Nick Jonas and Patrick Ta for making it an unforgettable night. She wrote in her caption:
“Thank you @nickjonas for performing at my party … thank you @rolando_santana and @ports1961womenswear for my dresses and also thank you @patrickta for the makeup!”
Henry isn’t a stranger to the celebrity scene — she’s posted pictures of her time spent with Justin Bieber, One Direction, and even Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
