The 33-year-old actress, who has earned multiple award nominations for her work on “PEN15,” is set to appear in at least three episodes of the highly anticipated “Star Wars” spinoff show, Deadline reported.
The cast for “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” revealed a few weeks ago, includes Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christen.
They will reprise their roles as Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, respectively, with a potential “rematch of the century” between the two.
Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie, have also been announced as actors in the show, NextShark previously reported.
The six hour-long episodes will be directed by filmmaker Deborah Chow, who directed two episodes of “The Mandalorian” Season 1. The show is in pre-production and is expected to be released in 2022, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi,” which takes place 10 years after the film “Revenge Of The Sith” and nine years before “A New Hope,” is currently in pre-production.
Meanwhile, Erskine is also set to star in the upcoming film “Sacramento” with Michael Cera and Michael Angarano.
