A hooded and masked gunman fired multiple shots at a man after stepping outside of a karaoke bar in New York City on February 12.
The victim, 31-year-old Xin Gu, left the Shangri-La Karaoke bar on Fowler Street in Flushing, Queens to ride an Uber that had pulled over.

CCTV footage after 2:30 a.m. shows the gunman approach Gu from behind before blasting the back of his head at point-blank range.
Gu, who quickly fell to the ground, was shot several more times in the body, according to the New York Post.
The Uber driver sped off as soon as the gunman fired the first shot.
The gunman, who wore blue surgical gloves, reportedly fled the scene in a white Honda sedan with temporary plates.
Gu was rushed to New York–Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where he was pronounced dead, New York Daily News reported.
Police are still looking for the gunman and his motive.
Spent bullets were recovered inside the Uber.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
