Marvel Studios recently released a Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 sizzle reel that features new footage from “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” as well as the world’s first sneak peek of “Eternals.”
Marvel Studios shared the sizzle reel on various social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, on May 3.
“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ will be released in theaters on Sep. 3. The action-packed film will star Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan alongside other actors such as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
Producer Jonathan Schwartz praised the film during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“Every punch is meaningful, every fighting style is meaningful, and the story is told visually in such a great way,” Schwartz said.
“Eternals,” which is set to be released on Nov. 5, was directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao. The first sneak peek of the movie features a star-studded cast that includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek and Ma Dong-seok.
Zhao told Variety that she was in the “final stretch” of getting the feature ready for the big screen. During her post-Oscars interview, she expressed her gratitude to Marvel Studios and the late Jack Kirby.
“Jack Kirby and his imagination, his incredible work, is really the foundation of it,” Zhao said. “On top of that, there is what Marvel Studios has built, this incredible journey they have going on.”
