Marilou Danley, girlfriend of Las Vegas shooter Steven Paddock, was in contact with a family member shortly after the Las Vegas massacre.
Reynaldo Bustos, Danley’s older brother, told ABC News that he immediately contact his younger sister upon hearing news of the shooting.
“I called her up immediately and she said, ‘Relax, we shouldn’t worry about it. I’ll fix it. Do not panic. I have a clean conscience,'” Bustos said.
Danley landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday night at 7:17 p.m. PT on Philippine Air Flight 102. FBI agents helped escort her past customs and left out of a secure entrance of the airport.
Officials told ABC News that Danley is not considered a suspect at the moment and being treated as a “witness,” so she is not being detained and is free to go anywhere she pleases.  ABC News talked to Bustos in an exclusive video interview:
Danley was given the night to rest after a long flight and will be interviewed by detectives  along with her lawyer sometime today when she’s ready.
