A Malaysian woman filmed a TikTok video in hopes of capturing the faces of the men she claimed were following her as she walked alone.
TikTok user @phichzy10 said that she was being tailed in a six-second video posted on Sunday.
“F*cking sh*t these men,” she captioned her TikTok.
The woman can be seen holding up her phone in a residential area to discreetly film the people purportedly following her. In a split-second shot, a person in a yellow shirt is captured walking a few feet behind.
“F*ck, I’m so freakin’ scared these guys keep following me,” she wrote in a text overlay on her video. “Pretending to film a video hope I record their face.”
The TikTok has garnered over 3.6 million views and nearly 500,000 likes, as of this writing.
Many viewers expressed their concern for the woman’s safety, to which she replied, “Guys I’m okay already. I called my bf and now I’m at his place. Girls, please be careful when walking alone.”
Other viewers offered suggestions and commented their reactions in similar situations.
“Knock every apartment there… Or go to your neighbor’s house and knock or blast your phone loud or shout,” one user said.
“Happened to my sister who is a 16-year-old pls she literally laughed like crazy and grabbed a bat and she chased him PLS THE GUY WAS RUNNING AWAY,” another user wrote.
“When men do this to me, I turn back and speak in a very deep and manly voice saying: YA BRO WHAT YOU WANT,” one user shared.
