As soon as the drums can be heard, the dancers perform several acrobatic moves, including the front dancer being lifted up to make the lion appear as if it is standing on two legs.
After starting their routine on the floor, the performers then jump on several objects scattered around the mat, such as a traditional Chinese drum.
After a nearly nine-minute performance, the dancers then remove their costume, revealing that one of the dancers wears a hijab. The audience can be heard clapping and cheering loudly for the team.
In the now-viral video’s comment section, several TikTok users also showed their appreciation and amazement.
While many users left smiling emojis with hearts, others paid their compliments to the two lion dancers, with one user writing, “Respect the girls. Legend.”
Bravo girls and don’t forget the girl at back too because not easy to tunduk and follow her front action. Need match up together,” another user said.
Wow… really exceptional! Excellent,” another user commented.
