Iconic Pianist Lang Lang Posts Wedding Photos with German Pianist Wife

The ceremony was held at a hotel in France while the wedding banquet was held at the Palace of Versailles later on Sunday, according to CGTN.

Lang Lang shared some of the photos taken during the ceremony and the banquet in his official Weibo page, which has already been liked more than 896,000 and 103,000 times, respectively, as of this writing.

The 23-year-old pianist and Lang Lang, 36, reportedly met in Berlin, Germany a few years ago. Alice, who was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, is Half-German and Half-Korean.

 

She started to learn the piano at the very young age of four and had her first solo performance in public at eight. Alice graduated from the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg and was noted to be fluent in many languages including English, German, Korean, French, and Chinese.

The groom, meanwhile, made headlines back in 2017 when he made donations to six public schools in Philadelphia where he gave out pianos, workbooks, after school lessons, and field trips related to music, which had a total cost of $780,000.

Two Chinese singers, Jane Zhang and Li Yugang, reportedly sent their wishes to the newly-wed couple while Mandopop superstar Jay Chou was spotted at the event.
