An unnamed woman with an angelic voice has gone viral for her impromptu performance at a Metro line in Koreatown.
The mesmerizing moment was captured on video by an LAPD officer at the Wilshire/Normandie Purple Line Metro station in Koreatown, Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday evening.
According to ABC 7, a police officer heard the woman singing and had to stop to film her. She is seen pulling a cart filled with items and carrying multiple plastic bags.
Some passersby told the network they’ve seen her around Glendale, California for 10 years now.
“She’s walking around with her cart and when you see her you thought she’s homeless,” Susanna Oganyan from Glendale told ABC 7, adding she’s also a violin player and can sometimes perform outside local shopping malls. “I’ve saw her near the Americana playing her violin and it’s so very beautiful.”
Although her real identity remains a mystery, some people told KTLA 5 that the woman’s name is Emily. They added she is originally from Russia.
