South Korean rapper Camo shared an announcement about “Camo: Wifey Tour,” her upcoming North American tour, on Tuesday.
In an Instagram post, she wrote about the tour and teased that she will be previewing new songs, a welcome follow-up for fans after her track “Freak Like Me,” produced by Dayrick, dropped in January. Unbound Entertainment Group also posted information about her tour on its official website.
Camo took inspiration for her tour name from her second single “Wifey,” which was released last year. Her tour schedule is as follows:
  • Los Angeles on Aug. 16 at 1720
  • San Francisco on Aug. 17 at Brick & Mortar
  • Vancouver, Canada, on Aug. 18 at Fox Cabaret
  • Toronto on Aug. 19 at Hard Luck Bar
  • New York on Aug. 20 at Mission NYC
  • Calgary, Canada, on Aug. 22 at Commonwealth
Born Park Chae-ryung in Hong Kong, the rapper moved to South Korea to pursue her music dreams and debuted under the record label 502 with her EP “Ice,” on March 10, 2020. Her name is a combination of the first two letters of the words “cash” and “money.”
She released her second EP, “Fragile,” in June 2021 and has had various collaborations with artists such as Jmin in “Life is Wet,” Coogie in “Shawty” and Bibi in “TYT.”
Tickets for Camo’s upcoming tour will be made available to the general public on July 8 at 12 a.m. PST.
