A Korean man has been punished with a fine for spreading defamatory rumors about former first lady Lee Hui-Ho’s plans to marry hip-hop icon Dr. Dre.
The man claimed that the 95-year-old former first lady is allegedly planning to launder her late husband’s “slush funds” by marrying rap artist Dr. Dre.
The 75-year-old Korean man was found guilty of defamation since his allegations were deemed “groundless” by the Seoul district court.
According to BBC, the man in question was slapped with a whopping 5 million won ($4,457) fine for defamation.
As for the 52-year-old rap legend, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, he certainly isn’t going through a new marriage at the moment as he’s currently with Nicole Young. The rap icon has been pretty busy lately and was recently spotted in Hawaii as he reportedly teased fans that he was working on some new material.
According to XXL, Dr. Dre is working at a studio in Honolulu with Grammy-nominated producer Dem Jointz. Dr. Dre has yet to reveal what exactly the new project is that he’s been working on, but reports claim that he might be collaborating with rapper Anderson Paak, who was also spotted recording new music music in Hawaii.
