Korean American Secret Service agent David Cho has gone viral on social media after he was spotted during President Joe Biden‘s inauguration on Wednesday.
Cho’s identity: Although not much is public yet about the Secret Service agent, many reports are now saying he will lead Biden’s Secret Service detail, according to The Washington Post.

  • Known to be a perfectionist supervisor, Cho worked his way to the top and became the Secret Service detail’s second-in-command during the Trump administration.
  • Cho was also the recipient of the Department of Homeland Security’s Exceptional Service Gold Medal in 2019 for his work.
  • “For tireless and direct participation in high-level negotiations with the leaders of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, planning all security details for both Presidential visits to that country, while still leading the men and women of the Presidential Protective Division’s White House Section in their zero-fail mission on the White House Complex,” the Department of Homeland Security wrote about Cho.
