Nintendo Switch party game ‘Kirby’s Dream Buffet’ releasing next week

Fans of Kirby can look forward to the upcoming game “Kirby’s Dream Buffet,” which will be exclusively released on the Nintendo eShop on Aug. 17.

Fans of Kirby can look forward to the upcoming game “Kirby’s Dream Buffet,” which will be exclusively released on the Nintendo eShop on Aug. 17.
Up to four players can compete in the new party game, where each player will choose a different color Kirby and race up a mountain while eating strawberries to grow in size and power to defeat the other players. Similar to Kirby’s ability to suck in enemies and gain their abilities, Kirby can use special fruit powers to gain an edge over other players.
“Kirby’s Dream Buffet” will feature three game modes. One is a race mode where players race around a track covered in food, dodging obstacles and eating strawberries as they go. As players consume more fruit, Kirby becomes larger and is able to knock other competitors off the track. Mini-game mode features a small battle area where players compete to eat as many strawberries as possible before time runs out. Finally, the object of battle royale mode is to knock opponents off of a platform to steal their berries and win the game

Nintendo’s eShop will be selling the game for $14.99, and it is currently available for pre-order.
