Given today’s internet culture, Viners, Youtubers and Instagrammers know that social media influence is the ultimate form of power. The more popular you are, the more valuable you look to companies who want you to shout out about a product to your hundreds of thousands to millions of followers — and that’s money right there.
No one plays this game better than Kendall Jenner, at least according to her nearly 44 million followers. With those numbers, the 19-year-old reality T.V. star, entrepreneur and Victoria’s Secret Angel earns between $125,000 and $300,000 per post.
To put that into perspective, on a down day, that’s like getting a Tesla Model S P90D per post. On a good day, that’s like getting a 2016 Rolls-Royce Wraith for a picture and a sentence.
According to CR Fashion Book, former casting director and the CEO/founder of the social analytics firm D’Marie, Franks Spadafora, revealed that Jenner ranks above fellow models Cara Delevigne and Gigi Hadid for the amount of money they pull for endorsements within their social media reach.
Spadafora explained that the models, “are currently valued between $125,000 and $300,000 for a single post across their portfolio. If you want to reach a model’s audience, you’re going to have to pay a hefty additional fee for that.”
In June, Jenner set the record for the most likes on a single post on Instagram, racking up 2.5 million likes in five weeks and 3.3 million in total to date.
Jenner also made Forbes’ list of the highest-paid models this year, estimated to pull in $4 million when you include her numerous modeling contracts.
