Ken Jeong is set to star in a Fox sitcom based on Dan Harris’ popular book and podcast “10% Happier.”
Produced by Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment, the show will follow a discontented man who works as an executive for a juice company, according to Variety. After experiencing a panic attack at work, he decides to change his entire way of living to become “10% Happier.”
The upcoming show will be written and executive produced by Michael Lisbe and Nate Reger, who have previously worked on Apple’s “Acapulco” and Fox’s “The Cool Kids.” Jeong, Harris, Jason Wang, Brett Carducci, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum will also serve as executive producers.
Jeong, 53, is currently a panelist on Fox’s “The Masked Singer” and also hosts and executive produces Fox’s singing competition “I Can See Your Voice.” He is slated to appear in Charlie Day’s upcoming satirical comedy film “Fool’s Paradise,” as well as the highly anticipated “Community” reunion movie.
