Rejoice K-pop fans, as media and entertainment company CJ ENM announced on Thursday the first round of headliners for KCON LA 2022.
With the return of in-person KCON events being just in time for its 10-year anniversary, KCON LA is hosting a superstar lineup following their Chicago event last month.
The first headliners of the event are: Cravity, Enhypen, Itzy, Nmixx, Stayc, The Boyz and WJSN.
Starship Entertainment will be bringing their boy group Cravity and their “Queendom” Season 2-winning girl group WJSN (cosmic girls) to the party. Cravity performed last month at KCON’s Chicago Premiere while WJSN will be making their return to KCON LA after their U.S. debut in 2017. The 13-member girl group also announced a summer album, “Sequence,” which will be out on July 5th.

CJ ENM’s very own joint venture with Hybe boy group Enphypen, who just announced a July 4 release date for their third mini-album “Manifesto : Day 1,” will make their in-person KCON LA debut. They previously performed at KCON’s digital event, KCON:TACT, in 2021.

Girl groups Itzy and fellow JYP Entertainment labelmates Nmixx are ready to turn the “voltage” up this year. Nmixx made their U.S. debut at the Chicago KCON event, while ITZY is returning to KCON LA after their 2019 showing. Itzy announced a world tour and a comeback album, “Checkmate,” earlier this month.

StayC will be making their KCON LA debut after a successful U.S. debut in Chicago last month.

IST Entertainment’s The Boyz, who will be releasing their new single “Sweet” June 17 on the Universe app, is coming back to KCON. The group  previously performed at KCON New York in 2019.

KCON LA’s next artist lineup will be announced on June 21. A “daily lineup” will be announced the following day, June 22.
