K-Pop Star Amber Liu is Giving a Lecture at UC Riverside

Kick off Winter 2018 with our first lecture…FUNCTION OF AMBER! Amber Liu is currently an American rapper and singer of South Korean girl group f(x). The event will be held at HUB 302 at 7:30PM on January 17, 2018,” UC Riverside announced on its Facebook post on Thursday.
Formed by S.M. Entertainment, other members of f(x) include Chinese singer Victoria Song (Song Qian), Luna (Park Sun-young) and Krystal (Chrystal Soo Jung). The group made its debut in 2009.
The 25-year-old Asian-American singer is also a YouTuber with more than 620,000 followers. Liu is best known for her amazing rap skills as well as her tomboyish look.
She can rap in either Korean or in English, and calling her “good” would be an understatement. This video of her rapping to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” will speak for itself.
