Jamie’s tour announcement aligns with her untitled upcoming EP, which is scheduled to be released sometime in October. This will be the soloist’s latest music project since her single “Pity Party,” which was released in February.
In 2022, Jamie, whose real name is Park Ji-min, rose to fame at the age of 14 by winning the first season of the South Korean survival show “K-Pop Star.” She became a member of the 2012 JYP Entertainment duo 15& with Baek Yerin under the name Jimin Park.
In 2019, she left JYP Entertainment and 15&. She eventually signed with Warner Music Korea and took the stage name Jamie. From 2019 to 2020, she hosted her own podcast show called “What Would Jamie Do?” with Dive Studios.
Back in January, former Day6 member Jae Park ignited backlash after calling Jamie a “thot” during a livestream.
