South Korean singer-songwriter Lim Nahee, better known by her stage name Nahee, died at the age of 24 on Wednesday.
Nahee’s death: No official statements have been released by her family, and the cause of her death is currently unknown. However, Nahee’s music label, Mun Hwa In, confirmed the news in a statement posted on Instagram.  
“The singer-songwriter Nahee has left us and become a star in the sky,” the label wrote. “We are deeply sorry to bring you the sudden news, and we extend our condolences to all the fans who have supported and loved Nahee. We send our deepest condolences on the final journey of the deceased.”
Nahee’s funeral is reportedly scheduled for Friday at the central funeral hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. 
Honoring Nahee: The sudden news has shocked her fans, who expressed their grief in the comment section of her latest Instagram post featuring various photos, including a selfie, glimpses of a train journey and pictures and videos of her pet dog. The post was uploaded only a few hours before her death. The social media responses mourn her unexpected death and celebrate her talent, with fans expressing love and condolences.
About Nahee: The beloved indie artist in South Korea made her debut in 2019 with the single “Blue City,” which was followed by popular hits such as “Blue Night” and “Gloomy Day.” Her latest song, titled “Rose,” was released just four months ago.
Nahee signed with the agency Mun Hwa In as a singer-songwriter and producer in September 2020. In her short-lived 4-year career, she had accomplished 15 Korea Music Copyright Association songwriting and composing credits to her name.
