Fans are left worried after seeing a photo of K-Pop star Jimin which appeared that she had gone through an extreme case of weight loss.
Jimin, the leader and main rapper of South Korean girl group AOA, has been posting travel pictures from the U.K. over the last several days on Instagram — and fans could not help but notice a change in her figure.

The 28-year-old idol, whose real name is Shin Ji Min, stands 160 centimeters (5 feet and 3 inches). She is said to weigh around 43 kilograms (about 95 pounds), but her current weight is unknown.
“Ah, seriously she’s anorexic,” a top comment regarding her posts said, according to Allkpop. “She’s getting more and more skinny.”
This is not the first time fans expressed concerns about Jimin’s weight loss. Back in February, her label, FNC Entertainment, was forced to release a statement to address the public’s concern that she had anorexia.
“There are no problems with Jimin’s health. She has been living healthily these days while working out continuously,” FNC said, according to Soompi.
The artist also debunked such rumors herself, declaring in a now-deleted Instagram post, “I’m healthy.”
However, many fans are still concerned after seeing her new photos.
Fans flooded her recent posts wishing her well and asking her to stay healthy while others heckled.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
