Lee Jung-jae of ‘Squid Game’ and Shin Min-ah of ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ are Gucci’s newest brand ambassadors

“Squid Game” star Lee Jung-jae and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” actress Shin Min-ah were recently announced as Gucci’s newest Global Brand Ambassadors.
The “Squid Game” star: Gucci posted several photos of the South Korean actor modeling suits and accessories on their official Instagram account on Nov. 11. 
  • One of their posts’ captions states, “Gucci welcomes actor Jungjae Lee @from_jjlee — seen here wearing #GucciAria — as new global brand ambassador.”
  • Lee also modeled a velvet suit from Gucci Aria by Italian fashion designer Alessandro Michele.
  • A Gucci press release stated, “Lee Jung-Jae’s charismatic and iconic style and a strong self-identity is similar to Gucci’s philosophy that values acceptance of diversity and self-expression.” 
The “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” actress: On the same day, Gucci also welcomed Shin Min-ah to their brand by sharing photographs of her modeling Gucci Aria looks. 
  • One of the posts’ captions reads, “Welcoming actress Mina Shin @illusomina as Gucci’s new global brand ambassador. Captured by Janghyun Hong @hongjanghyun, Mina wears key looks from the #GucciAria collection designed by @alessandro_michele.”
  • In a separate post, Shin also modeled a selection of Gucci jewelry.
  • According to Soompi, Gucci stated that Shin’s “sophisticated and unequalled style and her belief in the pursuit of diversity and respect for self-expression is similar to Gucci’s philosophy.”
Last month, “Squid Game” star Jung Ho-yeon was announced as a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton.
