CzDollic, which conducted four-month research before selecting the contenders, said that Jin’s “oval features balanced symmetrically that [he] can be filmed from any angle,” while his mouth “beautifully curved.”

This is not the first time Jin’s facial features received recognition. In February 2018, a plastic surgeon who analyzed 269 Asian male faces declared that his had the “golden ratio” of 1:1.618 ― the cross-distance between the ears (1) and the cross-distance between chin and hairline (1.618).
