A good-looking vegetable farmer from a remote mountainous province in the Philippines has become an instant heartthrob/sensation in social media after a traveler snapped his photos and uploaded them on Facebook.

While there is very little information about the mysterious young farmer, his name was later revealed by GMA News as Jeyrick Sigmaton, who hails from Barlig, a mountain province in the Philippines.

Traveler Edwina Bandong and some friends found Sigmaton loading baskets of carrots (hence, the moniker) to a truck during their vacation in the countryside. Edwina, who takes photos as a hobby, posted the pictures on her Facebook page.

The insanely photogenic “Carrot man”, as he is now famously known, is currently getting quite an attention on Facebook for his ruggedly handsome looks.

The pictures posted two weeks ago went viral and gained over 50,000 likes and 19,000 shares and was also featured on local TV news and websites.

Netizens who can’t get enough of the young man are now seeking more information about this mysterious Carrot man.
