It may have taken a while, but former NBA star Jeremy Lin finally received his championship ring from the Toronto Raptors.
Lin, who now plays for the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), flaunted his ring via a photo he uploaded to Instagram over the weekend.
“Uhhhh lollll. Finally got my @raptors championship ring to Beijing and this things fatttt!! FAT!” the 31-year-old point guard wrote in the image caption.
“Thank you to Toronto and all the fans who made last year so memorable. Great ending to 2019, time to make more history in 2020. The ring literally takes over my hand…taking all suggestions on how to make it a lil more lowkey or should I just flex it everywhere I go lol 💎🏆 #WeTheNorth #diamondsareforever”
Most of his teammates from the Raptors’ 2019 winning season already got their championship rings at the start of the NBA season in October 2019.
It was announced in August last year that Jeremy Lin would officially be leaving the NBA for the CBA after signing to play for the Beijing Ducks.
Lin, who had to wait a few months before the massive bling was shipped to him in Beijing, became the first Asian American to win an NBA title.
While Lin played just under a minute for the entire finals series, many consider his presence on the team very valuable.
