A new official trailer for “Fast & Furious 10,” also known as “Fast X,” features Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes, a sadistic show-off and the upcoming film’s main antagonist.
The trailer, which was shared on Thursday, features several familiar faces, such as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang.
Momoa’s character, a new addition to the film, can be seen blowing up the Vatican and threatening Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, at a street race.
“Fast X” made headlines last year after Justin Lin announced that he would no longer be directing the film.
The Taiwanese American filmmaker previously directed “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” “Fast & Furious,” “Fast Five,” “Fast & Furious 6” and “F9.”
While Lin did not elaborate on his reasons for leaving, several reports claimed that he quit after a “major disagreement” with Diesel.
In addition to “Fast X,” fans of Momoa can look forward to his upcoming appearances in several other projects.
These include “Aquaman 2,” the “Minecraft” movie and the R-rated road trip film “Animal Friends.”
“Fast X” will hit cinemas on May 19. Check out its most recent trailer below:
