Police have arrested the driver responsible for killing one and seriously injuring another while playing Pokémon Go. The man, a 39-year-old farmer, was distracted by the popular augmented reality game when he struck the pedestrians with his small truck on Tuesday evening.
According to CNN, the two women were crossing the street in rural Tokushima prefecture on the smallest of Japan’s four main islands. One women in her early 70s died from a spinal injury at the scene. The other victim was hospitalized with a broken hip.
