Japanese Train Ride Through Cherry Blossoms Is Something Straight Out of Anime
By Carl Samson
A train ride in Tokyo, Japan is catching the attention of many users on social media with their stunning views of cherry blossoms from the windows resembling a magical scene from an anime show.
The scenic trip, which was shared on Twitter last week, was shot along the Inokashira Line while travelling from the stations of Hamadayama to Takaido in Suginami Ward.
The clip comes from Twitter user @_m_d_r_m_, also known as Madoromi, who captured the stunning view for 33 seconds.
Check it out below:
As seen in the video, the windows appear almost like a large TV screen, while the long stretch of pink-tinged cherry blossoms under the blue sky make for a magical anime-like setting.
Even better, the sound of the train tracks makes a complementary audio, giving passengers — and also the viewers — a feel of the “simple yet beautiful living” in suburban Tokyo.
Sadly, with the sakura season ending soon, the sight will no longer be the same until next year.
Netizens shared in Madoromi’s delight at the viewing experience:
“Such a beautiful view!”
“This year’s cold and I can’t see flowers [here]. I appreciate wonderful images.”
“Which station shows like a real movie? Let’s go next year! I look forward to it.”
