I started making these seven years ago, I was really inspired by wildlife pictures and wanted to see if I could create realistic animals of my own,” the 28-year-old artist told Metro in 2016.

According to the artist, it takes him at least two hours to finish a project, and up to six hours depending on the complexity of his target model.

While he may be the dream artist at many children’s parties, Matsumoto said that he doesn’t do events or sell his work.
