The moment we caught 2 blokes breaking into oportos arundel, they ran inside so I took there keys out of the ignition. When the driver for back to the car he realised his keys were missing, the passenger jumped in and I managed to land a few punches on the putrid scums face. Good thing is the police know who they are as if was there own car they used, should have been smarter! Sorry for the language! Cheers Kane Wiblen for accidentally getting it on video haha

After sharing a couple of Friday night drinks, friends James Ross-Munroe and Kane Wiblen were traveling to a gas station when they noticed thieves breaking into an Oporto, a burger shop in Gold Coast, Australia.
Without hesitation, the then-barefoot James went into action by stealing the keys from the thieves’ getaway car, which they left unattended, reports the Gold Coast Bulletin.
The clueless robbers then reappeared and hopped on to their plate-less Commodore to find their keys missing. The shirtless hero then grabbed them and threw several punches at them while screaming obscenities. While James focused on thwarting the robbery, Wiblen filmed the action for a video he later uploaded to his Facebook page.
“When the driver for back to the car he realised his keys were missing, the passenger jumped in and I managed to land a few punches on the putrid scums face,” said Ross-Munroe in a Facebook post.
The robbers managed to eventually escape on foot.
I chased them but because I’m fat they got away haha. he said in another post. Good thing is the police know who they are as if was there own car they used, should have been smarter!”
Local police have one suspect in custody and are currently investigating the matter.
The two have since become instant internet sensations with their video receiving over 1.6 million views and netizens praising their actions
