Jackie Chan wants ‘Rush Hour 4’ and ‘Shanghai Dawn’

By Ryan General
Martial arts icon Jackie Chan has confirmed his enthusiasm for returning to the “Rush Hour” (1998) and “Shanghai Noon” (2000) franchises.
Speaking with ScreenRant at “The Karate Kid: Legends” red carpet event in New York on Tuesday, Chan said the script for “Rush Hour 4” is still in development and urged the team to move quickly. “Hurry up! Otherwise, Chris Tucker and me [will be] 100 years old. We’ll be old men doing ‘Rush Hour’,” joked the 71-year-old actor.
Chan also expressed interest in reviving the “Shanghai” series, saying he wants to do “Shanghai Knights” and “Shanghai Dawn.” He currently stars in “Karate Kid: Legends,” which premieres in U.S. theaters on May 30.
