Ivana Trump Likes Mexican Immigrants, But Only When They’re Vacuuming Her Living Room

Ivana Trump, 67, is a former fashion model and the first wife of business magnate and Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.
She was born in the former Communist country of Czechoslovakia and moved to Canada before re-locating to New York and meeting her future second husband, Donald Trump. The power couple split in 1991 following her husband’s adulterous affair with actress Marla Maples.
Though she admits to being an immigrant herself, Ivana revealed in an interview with the New York Post that her ideals align with her ex-husband. She said:
“I have nothing against Mexicans, but if they [come] here — like this 19-year-old, she’s pregnant, she crossed over a wall that’s this high [lowers hand to four inches from the floor] She gives the birth in American hospital, which is for free. The child becomes American automatically. She brings the whole family, she doesn’t pay the taxes, she doesn’t have a job, she gets the housing, she gets the food stamps. Who’s paying? You and me.
“As long as you come here legally and get a proper job …  we need immigrants. Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? American’s don’t like to do that.”
Ivana is a “self-proclaimed conservative” and claims to at times serve as her ex-husband’s advisor. She told the Post:
“We [Donald] speak before and after the appearances and he asks me what I thought […]”
Though she tells him to “be more calm,” Ivana admits:
“But Donald cannot be calm. He’s very outspoken. He just says it as it is. He’s no politician. He’s a businessman. He knows how to talk. He can give an hour speech without notes… He’s blunt.
In addition, she said that her ex-husband would surround himself with “fantastic advisors, like Carl Icahn. Really brilliant minds. And he’d make a decision! Obama cannot make a decision if his life depends on it. It’s ridiculous.”
