Daughter of India’s Richest Man Gets Married With Private Beyoncé Concert
A lavish wedding between a couple from two of India’s richest families features a three-day pre-wedding party, the attendance of several Bollywood stars, and a private concert by one of the biggest singers in the world.
Even the wedding invitation is extra luxurious, featuring necklaces and precious stones stacked in a two-tier floral box, valued at $4,236. Meanwhile, India’s top designers have been tapped to dress the wedding party.
Festivities highlighted by song, dance and pre-wedding rituals began this weekend in the desert city of Udaipur, Reuters reports (via AsiaOne).
“The event will have many visitors from abroad, so customs and immigration counters have been set up at the airport and will remain active for the next five days,” a source from the airport was quoted as saying.
Over 100 chartered flights carrying guests from around the world have been landing in Udaipur’s airport since Friday.
Wedding guests even have an exclusive access to an app which maps out the activities, including a private concert by Beyoncé. Former U.S. Bill and Hillary Clinton are among the most notable guests on the list of attendees.
