In a country like China, known for it’s new wealth and extravagant tastes, you wouldn’t be surprised to heat that the country’s most expensive home is nothing short of a palace.
A listing for an extravagant property in Suzhou recently appeared on the real estate website Mansion Global.
The property named “taohuayuan” or “utopia” comes with a view overlooking the Dushu Lake.
The asking price for this utopia is $1 billion yuan or nearly $150 million dollars.
According to Shanghaiist, the 72, 414 square foot estate includes 32 bedrooms and 32 bathrooms.
Pictures also reveal Koi ponds, a lavish swimming pool and an enviable wine cellar.
It is being marketed on the site as the most expensive home in China.
A listing agent reportedly told Mansion Global that “quite a few overseas clients” have expressed interest in the property.
This isn’t the only estate that has people’s jaws dropping.
Earlier this year, leaked photos of the luxury home of one of Asia’s highest paid actresses gave viewers a peek into the extravagant lifestyle of China’s elite.
