This map shows the most widely held jobs by immigrants in each state. <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/immigrant-jobs-state-map-2015-8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Business Insider </a>accumulated data from the <a href="https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">American Community Survey</a>, which is conducted annually by the U.S. Census Bureau. They examined answers from respondents regarding where they were born and what occupations they held. 
Using responses assembled by the <a href="https://www.ipums.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Minnesota Population Center’s Integrated Public Use Microdata Series </a>program from 2013, they created a map showing the most commonly held occupation among individuals born outside the United States.
