How This Man Makes Up to $1000 a Week by Simply Waiting

Want the hot new tech item or front row tickets to a show that’s sure to sell out? You can pay someone to stand in line for you.
Highlighted by Salon, Robert Samuels, the founder of professional waiting service company Same Ole Line Dudes, waits in lines on behalf of clients for anything they want — and he makes up to $1,000 a week doing it.
Samuels recently spent 48 hours as the first in line at an Apple store in New York City in order to purchase the iPhone 6s. He used fold-up cot for two nights, ate pizza delivered to him in line and made $1,000 for the whole ordeal.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
