A dog-friendly hotel in Hong Kong is offering up dim sum to canine companions traveling with their owners.
While dog parents enjoy their buffet at the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour hotel, their furry pets can join in with their own special “yum cha.”
Pampered pups can enjoy steamed meatballs, braised cod with fish maw, braised quail eggs, duck with capelin and braised chicken fillet with goat milk served in bamboo steamers as part of their very own dim sum experience.
The “Doggy Dim Sum Cart” is located in the outdoor garden terrace of the hotel’s Farmhouse restaurant and is available to both the hotel’s guests and visitors.
Visitors who book the hotel’s “Centric Dogcation” package up until Oct. 31 will also receive a complimentary kimono for their dogs.
The add-on package, which includes access to a doggy playground and other pet amenities, costs 800 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $102) per night plus a 10% service charge. For guests with a second dog, there is an additional charge of 299 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $38) with a 10% service charge.
