People in certain parts of Asia are known for incessantly honking their horns while driving.
The horse and his rider were minding their own business and trotting on the sidewalk when a crowded corner forced the two onto the road, according to Jiangnan Metropolis Daily. That was when the pair encountered a cranky driver in a BMW who kept honking at the poor animal. The loud noise irritated the horse that proceeded to bolt and kick back, leaving a sizeable hoof-shaped dent in the BMW.
Police arrived at the scene and let the BMW driver know the regulations, which specify cars should avoid blocking pedestrians’ way, as well as the traffic laws that prohibit honking.
The driver graciously accepted his mistake and acknowledged the fact that the horse had avoided the road and only stepped off the sidewalk to bypass the cars in its way. He assumed responsibility for the accident and left with a presumably interesting story to tell his mechanic.
