Among the many opportunities technology has allowed us, sharing things has become an entire economy in itself. We can share rides with people with Uber and Lyft or even share our homes with apps like Airbnb. But for vacation rental company HomeAway, sharing anything, especially your vacation experience, is disgusting.
The companies newest commercial, narrated by legendary smooth talker Nick Offerman, depicts worst case scenarios of when you vacation at hotels or other people’s homes. While the company, which focuses on long-term rentals, never specifically mentions Airbnb, it’s pretty clear who they are competing against.
