Here’s How Much $100 is Worth in Each State
We all know that the cost of living is different depending on where you live. For example, the price you pay for a condo in the San Francisco Bay Area could probably get you a house in Arizona. It’s not only just property, but goods and services as well.
The non-partisan Tax Foundation recently released a chart visualizing how much $100 is actually worth in each state. In New York, our beloved Benjamin is worth the least in purchasing power at $86.66, and the highest in Mississippi at $115.74.
Check out this chart below, illustrating the average income of both states. Notice the shocking difference in purchasing power?
I guess it’s time to move to Kansas.
