Hennessy is ushering the Lunar New Year with X.O OX Experience, a virtual charity event that will feature icons and entrepreneurs from the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
Centered around themes of hope and resilience, the digital experience seeks to inspire optimism and also support Asian American businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Henry Golding, Hennessy’s global ambassador, will host the event with internet personality and gamer AtomicMari as a special correspondent.
Filmmaker and restaurateur Eddie Huang will share his favorite Lunar New Year dish paired with Hennessy X.O and V.S.O.P Privilège cocktails by mixologist Cari Hah.
The event will also feature special performances by Jay Park, Dumbfoundead, Year of the Ox, MILCK and Kinjaz.
In addition to creating X.O OX Experience, Hennessy has also collaborated with renowned Chinese artist Liu Wei on a Lunar New Year limited release.
Titled “Spring,” the abstract artwork serves as “a sensorial invitation to experience the season of rebirth through a kaleidoscopic interpretation of beauty within a world of possibility.”
The design is now available on special editions of Hennessy X.O and V.S.O.P Privilège at select retailers across the U.S.
As part of its Unfinished Business initiative, Hennessy also pledged $250,000 to support small businesses impacted by the pandemic.
