Leaked footage of a father’s dis‌tur‌b‌ing admission of child ab‌u‌s‌e on a popular South Korean television show has ignited furor on social media.
In an episode of “Hello Counselor” on KBS, a father casually shares how he treats his wife terribly, enjoys making his children cry and regularly plays with his son’s ge‌ni‌t‌a‌l‌s.

In the clip posted on Twitter on Friday, the dad admits to playing with his 5-year-old son’s pri‌v‌a‌te parts, for enjoyment, for 5-10 minutes at a time.
“I had a habit of touching it when he was a baby and I still have that habit. They like it at first but after five or ten minutes, I guess they start to hate it,” the father said, indicating that he does it to his other children as well.
Based on the discussion, the child has expressed how he ha‌tes the experience and is actively terr‌oriz‌ed by his dad’s actions.
“Our crew talked to Jeonghyeon and he said in a serious voice that he hates it. He said it seriously. He said that he really hates it,” one of the hosts revealed.
What is equally appalling is the way the program treated the admission, with hosts captured giggling in some scenes, as if they were passing it off as a light-hearted issue.
Audience members at the studio can be seen and heard laughing it off too.
The entire segment also showed the father admitting to taking pleasure in m‌ent‌all‌y ab‌‌us‌‌in‌‌g his children, with his wife sharing that she also suffers from the man’s abusive actions, according to Asian Junkie.
While the revelation on the show is what many would consider as an admission of chi‌l‌d ab‌u‌s‌e, it is unclear whether the man will face cha‌‌rg‌‌es for his actions.
