Son Goku’s mysterious and extremely badass silver eyes Super Saiyan God Form has been teased on the latest promotional video for “Dragon Ball Super” and “One Piece”.
According to the original poster’s comment, the one-hour special for “Dragon Ball Super” is scheduled to air on October 8, when the silver-eyed Super Saiyan God form will presumably debut.
The clip alternates between two scenes from the one-hour special of “One Piece” and “Dragon Ball Super”. For the latter, it briefly teases the highly-anticipated fight between Goku and Universe 11’s strongest fighter, Jiren.
The sequence, however, is not exactly new. It shows the same Goku and Jiren fight sequence that can be seen in the opening theme of “Dragon Ball Super.”
Interestingly enough, the silver-eyed Super Saiyan God form teased in the video shows the similar posing Goku had in the Jump Magazine reveal, which was published a while back, Otaku Art reported.
It doesn’t necessarily mean, though, that this one doesn’t have anything new to offer to the fans. The promotional video seems to have added a bit of extra details to Goku’s body, specifically the silver/white aura that’s emitting from him.
Judging by Goku’s aura, this new form is definitely much stronger compared to the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken that he used against Hit in the previous arc. But what is unclear, however, is if it can hold up against Beerus or any godly characters in the series, including Jiren, if he is confirmed to be the strongest mortal Whis mentioned in the past episode.
The “Dragon Ball Super” one-hour special will run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Japan.
