International “Model of the Year” Gigi Hadid reportedly turned down the recent proposal of boyfriend and music artist Zayn Malik.
The 21-year-old model refused the marriage proposal, saying the “Sexiest Asian Man“, who is of British-Pakistani descent, was moving “too fast”. Hadid and Malik have been dating each other since November 2015. It was just last year when Malik canceled his two-year engagement to singer Perrie Edwards.
The couple briefly separated when Malik reportedly experienced “the worst anxiety of [his] life” and canceled several shows. After the split, the couple seemed to have regained their spark and have become happier together.

Daily Mail reported that the popular Victoria’s Secret Angel said she “didn’t feel ready” when the 23-year-old former One Direction member asked for her hand for marriage.
“She’s only 21 and doesn’t feel ready to tie the knot, so she turned him down,” a source close to the couple was quoted by Life & Style magazine.
The source also mentioned Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid as a reason for the model’s current apprehensions, saying, “She’s seen her mom go through two messy divorces, so Gigi wants to make 100 per cent sure Zayn’s the one before she makes a lifetime commitment.”
The couple recently enjoyed a white Christmas together after heading to a snowy getaway for the holiday.
