Filipinos Rank #1 AGAIN for the Longest Time Spent on Pornhub in 2017Filipinos Rank #1 AGAIN for the Longest Time Spent on Pornhub in 2017
The Philippines has just achieved a four-peat in topping Pornhub’s annual global rankings of the longest average time spent on the site.
For the fourth straight year, Filipinos spent the longest time on the popular adult website compared to its other users around the world, according to Pornhub’s 2017 year-long data released on Jan. 9.
Based on the report, Pinoy users spent an average of 13 minutes and 28 seconds watching steamy videos on Pornhub, which is significantly higher than the global average of 9 minutes and 59 seconds.
It was also higher than last year when Pornhub users in the Philippines spent 12 minutes and 45 seconds watching porn.
Pornhub’s “Insights” for 2017 also revealed that Filipinos prefer to keep it local when searching for videos, with terms like “Pinay”(Filipina), “Pinoy” (Filipino) — ranking No. 1 and 3 in the country’s search terms. The No. 2 spot was filled in by “hentai”.
In the “time spent per visit” category, South Africa came at second place with a little over 11 minutes. Following South Africans closely behind were the Americans, Canadians, and Argentinians, who all lasted over 10 minutes.
The United States, however, dominated in the category of “the biggest source of traffic” for Pornhub. The United Kingdom, India, Japan and Canada came in at second, third, fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Overall, 2017 was another big year for Pornhub, as the site accumulated 24.7 billion searches, and 28.5 billion visits that translate to 81 million daily average visits from around the world.
It is the third year in a row that “lesbian” was the No. 1 searched term globally. This was followed by “hentai” and “milf” for 2017. Racial terms such as “Japanese”, “Asian”, “Korean”, and “Chinese” also appear on the global top list.
Meanwhile, “Porn for Women”, “Rick and Morty”, and “Fidget Spinner” became the top three trending searched items of the year.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
