With his debut album “Brand New,” singer Xiumin is now the seventh member of K-pop boy group EXO to go solo.
Xiumin’s debut album has four other songs: “How We Do,” which features SM Entertainment labelmate Mark Lee of NCT; “Feedback,” which was arranged by Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar; “Love Letter” and “Serenity.”

Prior to the release of his new album, Xiumin worked on OSTs for K-dramas such as “Mr. Queen.” He also released a few unofficial solos, including “You” for the SM Station project.
In other EXO-related news, Chinese member Lay released an album over the weekend titled “West.” Lay is slated to headline the inaugural MetaMoon Music Festival in New York this November.
Other EXO members have performed at recent festivals. Suho performed at MIK Festival 2022 in London in July, while Chen and Kai both participated in the Sydney and London lineups of HallyuPopFest. Kai will perform at the inaugural KAMP LA 2022 next month with a few fellow SM labelmates such as Super Junior, Aespa and Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation
