Erica Sullivan, the world’s first silver medalist in the women’s 1500-meter (0.93 miles) freestyle, donated money to the LGBTQ community and successfully slid into pop star Camila Cabello’s Instagram messages.

LGBTQ support: Sullivan, 20, became a grant recipient of the Procter and Gamble’s Athletes for Good Fund, which allows Olympians to donate funds to the charity or cause of their choice, according to her interview with People.

  • The young swimmer took the opportunity to show her support for the LGBTQ community by giving money to the LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada.
  • As part of the LGBTQ community, Sullivan said that it’s “so cool that we’ve pushed the narrative so far and it’s becoming normalized.”

‘Girl, please notice me’: Sullivan had sent messages to Cabello requesting that the singer notice her, especially after the celebrity shared Sullivan’s Today Show viral press conference to her Instagram story.
