Dragon Ball Just Revealed Goku’s Biggest Secret

Son Goku’s latest adventures, which are currently chronicled via Dragon Ball Super, is gearing toward an interesting twist.

“Super” which was conceptualized and designed by original Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, is a new series that takes place after the events of Dragon Ball Z. The new storyline is yet to have an English version release, so this reveal may be a huge spoiler for longtime fans: Goku has actually never kissed anyone.

That is of course a bit of a shocker since he is known to be married to Chi-chi and has fathered two children. Here it is captured first by RocketNews24, line by line: (translation/context provided)

“Trunks kisses love-interest Mai, which results in Goku making a comment.

Goku: Wow Trunks, you really put your mouth right up to hers!

Vegeta: Have you… never kissed anyone before, Goku?

Goku: Of course not!

Vegeta: But… you’re married!

Goku: What does that have anything to do with it?”

Taken literally, such revelation may in fact hold certain implications to the story many fans have come to know and love.

Goku and his wife Chi-Chi are known to be Gohan and Goten’s parents, all principal characters of the hugely popular Dragon Ball Z series. Consider the following possibilities brought about by the revelation: If Goku and Chi-Chi have truly never kissed, then that means that either Goku fathered his Saiyan children without kissing his wife, or he is not really the father of the two.

There is also a possibility that Goku was just fooling around with Vegeta. Whatever truth is revealed next, it would still make for an interesting chapter in the beloved franchise.
