John Cho takes viewers on an emotional ride in the newly released trailer for Amazon Studio’s “Don’t Make Me Go,” an upcoming film about a terminally ill father making the most out of the time he has left with his daughter.
John Cho and Mia Isaac play Max and Wally, the father-daughter duo in the tearjerker directed by rising director Hannah Marks. Vera Herbert, known for NBC’s “This is Us” and MTV’s “Awkward,” serves as the film’s writer.
The synopsis for “Don’t Make Me Go” reads:
“When single father Max discovers he has a terminal disease, he decides to try and cram all the years of love and support he will miss with his teenage daughter Wally into the time he has left with her. With the promise of long-awaited driving lessons, he convinces Wally to accompany him on a road trip from California to New Orleans for his 20th college reunion, where he secretly hopes to reunite her with her mother who left them long ago.”
The bittersweet dramedy is slated to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13 before premiering on Prime Video on July 15.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
